Company history

Mr V.R. Skamberg is the founder of South Diary. He established the company in 2003 with a combination of his 20 years’ experience in the dairy industry and the energy and drive of a start-up enterprise: all the right ingredients for making South Diary a success!

 The Company has a unique position of chain producer with integrated production system in the dairy and veal sector. South Diary is a dedicated trading house of dairy commodities for the food and beverage and animal feed industries. Being part of such a successful organisation has enabled us to significantly expand our global operation. Our activities outside of Africa grew quickly and now represent more than 60% of our total sales.

In 2021 we moved to a new totally refurbished and up to date office in Limpopo.
